BLACKMAR, Judge.

The plaintiff, while riding his bicycle on June 24, 1978, was severely injured in a collision with an automobile. His condition was aggravated by an infection which developed following his initial surgery. He filed suit against the motorist for negligence, and against appellant Beiersdorf, Inc., the manufacturer of a non-sterile compression-type bandage, in a product liability claim, asserting that the bandage was contaminated by a microorganism which caused the infection.
