{¶ 1} Relators, Hilltop Basic Resources, Inc., and Queensgate Terminals, L.L.C., have brought a verified petition for a writ of mandamus concerning a 30-acre piece of riverfront property along River Road in Cincinnati. Hilltop and Queensgate contend that respondent city of Cincinnati’s refusal to allow them to have access from the River Road property to a public road constitutes a taking of their property interests.
