The plaintiff,is the widow of Thomas W. St. John who was fatally injured in a highway accident caused, as the plaintiff alleges, by the' negligence of the driver of a tractor-trailer of the defendant corporation which is engaged in the transportation of freight for hire by motor vehicle. C. A. Kepler, the co-defendant, is an officer of the corporation. The defendants appeal from a judgment entered, against them jointly on a jury’s verdict in favor of the plaintiff for damages for the wrongful death of her husband.
