Plaintiff brings this action pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act (“the Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), to obtain judicial' review of a final decision of the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare denying his application for the establishment of a period of disability under section 216(i) of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 416(i), and his claim for disability insurance benefits under section 223 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 423.
