James Earl Roberts appeals the trial court’s denial of his plea of former jeopardy based on a constitutional speedy trial violation. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
Roberts previously appealed the trial court’s denial of his motion for discharge and acquittal based on the speedy trial provisions of OCGA § 17-7-170, and both this court and the Supreme Court of Georgia affirmed the trial court.
