This opinion addresses eight motions in limine filed by plaintiff, Abbott Point of Care, Inc., an entity that plaintiffs counsel refer to by the acronym “APOC” for reasons that are discussed in Part IV, infra, but one which this court prefers to reference by the simple, descriptive term “Abbott.” Abbott’s motions are listed here in the order in which they were filed, but not the arrangement in which they are discussed below: i.e., (1) motion to bar defendant, Epocal, Inc.
