This is an appeal from a decree for divorce granted upon the ground of extreme cruelty, and awarding to the complainant real estate and personal property *294amounting, as valued by the court, to one-quarter of the value of the property of the defendant. From the decree both parties have appealed; the defendant contending that he was entitled to a decree for a divorce from the complainant, as prayed for in his answer by way of cross-bill, and the complainant contending that the court’s award of alimony was inadequate.
