OPINION

ROACH, Justice.

Walter Lee Richardson, Jr. appeals his conviction of attempted burglary of a habitation. The original indictment contained enhancement paragraphs alleging two prior felony convictions. Pursuant to the State’s request, the second enhancement paragraph was stricken. During the punishment phase of the trial, appellant pleaded “true” to the first enhancement paragraph and was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and a $2,500 fine.
