CASE SUMMARY 1

Late in the evening of December 29, 2012, Ryan Jackson’s home in Cross Plains, Indiana was broken into, and Jackson was robbed at gunpoint. Early the next morning, Nancy Hershman was shot and killed during a break-in at her home in Milan, Indiana. Based on information provided by Jackson, authorities were soon pointed in the direction of D.H. as a suspect, and he confessed his participation in the robbery and the homicide while also implicating Appellee-Defendant Allison Moore and three others.
