E. F. Short, as plaintiff, filed suit in the district court of Grady county against F. A. Vickery and J. D. Sanders for recovery of rents alleged to he due to the plaintiff under the terms of a lease of lands made by the plaintiff to defendants. Vickery and Sanders answered, admitting making the lease * contract with the plaintiff and alleging assignment of such lease to C. B.
