Johnston Moore filed a bill in equity in the Circuit Court of Mercer county, setting up that he owned certain lands derivatively from an old grant from the commonwealth of Virginia, and that possession actual under it had been held since its emanation, in 1795, and he was still in such possession; that three certain junior grants for three tracts had been issued, and no possession had ever been taken under them, and those tracts lay wholly within the boundaries of the plaintiff’s land; that R.
