CRIST, Judge.

Paternity case. Father appeals that part of a judgment providing for retroactive child support prior to July 30, 1990. We reverse and remand that part of the judgment providing for retroactive child sup*277port for a period of five years prior to May 12, 1988, the date Mother filed her petition.
