OPINION AND ORDER

SESSIONS, Chief Judge.

This dispute involves the alleged bad faith handling of Kevin Buote’s (“Buote”) workers’ compensation claim by Verizon New England and Bell Atlantic Communications, Inc., (collectively “Verizon”). 1 Kim Buote has filed a loss of consortium claim related to the alleged insurance bad faith. Both sides have moved for summary judgment on Buote’s insurance bad faith claim.
