This suit was filed in the District Court at Alexandria o'n April 2, 1917. The minutes of the court show that a preliminary default was entered on April 27 following and that the case was set for trial May 17; that the case was reset for July 17, and that on July 2 the assignment for July 17 was stricken out on motion of counsel, and that on July 13 counsel for plaintiff filed an amended and supplemental petition; that on October 2 the case was set for November 6, and on October 18 an answer to the supplemental petition was filed, and that on November 2 the assignment of November 16 was…
