This is an action at law to recover on a group insurance policy originally issued by the Missouri State Life Insurance Company, the obligation of which was later assumed by the General American Life Insurance Company, to provide life insurance for the memberships of an association of employees of the United States Coal and Coke Company. William Kent, an employee of the last mentioned company, died of apoplexy in the month of December, 1935 and Aleñe Kent, beneficiary named in the certificate issued to him, prosecutes this action on a certificate issued under said policy, effective…
