Defendants-Appellants, who collectively operated as a video game publisher, entered into a contract with Plaintiff-Appel-lee, a video game developer, to produce and market a new video game. When their business relationship deteriorated, the parties proceeded with arbitration, and the arbitrator awarded the publisher Defendants-Appellants monetary compensation and a perpetual license in the video game’s intellectual property.
