Defendant-appellant Waline Brutus appeals from a judgment of the District Court for the Eastern District of New York (I. Leo Glasser, Judge) convicting her, after a jury trial, of importing five or more kilograms of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 952, and possessing five or more kilograms of cocaine with the intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a). Brutus, who testified on her own behalf at trial, contends on appeal that the district court erred in instructing the jury on how to evaluate her testimony. For the reasons that follow, we…
