Proeedurally, this ease in the trial court was a motion to release garnishment. The real issue was the validity of a judgment entered for nonpayment of child support and the right of defendant-appellee to have the judgment vacated or reduced in amount.

Plaintiff-appellant, Anna Wren, and defendant-appellee, Arthur R. Wren, were divorced on September 29, 1955. Plaintiff was given custody of the one child of the parties, Arthur R.
