Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Washington County (Hemmett, Jr., J.), rendered July 2, 1999, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of sodomy in the first degree.
Defendant was charged in a nine-count indictment with sodomy in the first degree (two counts), sodomy in the second degree (three counts), rape in the first degree, rape in the second degree, sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child after having allegedly engaged in sexual acts with an 11-year-old girl.
