JACKSON, Chief Justice.

The County of Lubbock was organized in 1891. The commissioners’ court promptly provided for opening four cardinal roads leading from Lubbock the county seat as the law provided. One of these roads by order of the court began at the court house located in the approximate center of what we shall call the town section on which the town of Lubbock is situated. This road ran north to the north line of said section, then east to the northeast corner thereof and continued east along the north line of Section 3, Block O, and the south line of Section 1 in Block A.
