—The State seeks review of a trial court order granting a motion to modify a sentence previously imposed on a juvenile. We reverse.

Peter Cirkovich was convicted of rape in the second degree in 1982. Cirkovich was sentenced to the standard range, which included commitment to the Department of Juvenile Rehabilitation for a period of 21 to 28 weeks. In its disposition order, the court stayed its sentence pending the outcome of Cirkovich's appeal. We affirmed. State v. Cir-kovich, 35 Wn. App. 134, 665 P.2d 440 (1983).

In the meantime, Cirkovich had turned 18 and left the state. No order extending…
