Ninety-seven employees of Bowmar Instrument Corporation sought unemployment benefits for a certain period under G. L. c. 151A, as appearing in St. 1941, c. 685, § 1, as amended. The director of the division of employment security (director) determined that the claimants were not entitled to benefits for that period. G. L. c. 151A, § 39. The director’s determination was affirmed in part and modified in part by the board of review. §§ 40 and 41.
