In September 1935, Standard Gas and Electric Company filed a petition in bankruptcy seeking reorganization under section 77B of the Bankruptcy Act (48 U. S. Stat. 912). The plaintiff was appointed “ Special Trustee ” of the debtor corporation and was authorized- to bring suit upon causes of action belonging to the debtor corporation and referred to in the order appointing the trustee.
