This is an action by plaintiff, a guest passenger, to recover damages for personal injuries she sustained in an automobile accident which occurred on Clear Lake Road, west of Eugene, Oregon. Defendants Sanford McClain and Lucy M. McClain were the parents of Neil E. McClain. The trial court granted a directed verdict in favor of Lucy M. McClain. Defendants Sanford McClain and Neil E. McClain moved for a directed verdict. The court was inclined to grant the motion, and plaintiff requested that the case be submitted to the jury. ORS 18.140(2).
