The original proceeding in this case was a bill in equity. The complainants are heirs and devisees of William F. Taylor, being aliens and resident in Scotland. He was a naturalized citizen of South Carolina. The respondent was George M. Savage of Alabama,.prosecuted there as executor of Samuel Savage.of that State. The claim set up in the bill was, that William F. Taylor, before his death in A.
