Plaintiff, Francis B. Trew, brought the present suit against Standard Supply and Hardware Company, Inc., (hereinafter called "Standard") alleging that he had been employed in the capacity of superintendent or foreman of production by Vendome Petroleum Corporation (which we will hereinafter designate as "Vendome") at a salary of $175.00 per month, and that there is due him salary for the months of May through November, and the first eight days of December, 1942, for services performed in connection with the oil and gas well operations of his employer on the Kenilworth and St. Mary Plantations…
