4th Trial Memorandum

In the course of the trial, both parties have argued, as to certain exhibits, the relevancy and materiality of comments by defense counsel to statements appearing in certain of the Government’s documentary proofs relating to substitute products which are in competition with cellophane and caps and bands. It was agreed that-at some stage of the trial the ultimate question would need be posed and decided. The Govern-; ment has now presented the question for> determination.
