Plaintiffs, nine former employees of the Ashtabula Forge Division of ABS Industries, Inc. or of Ashtabula Forge, Inc. (hereinafter collectively referred to as “ABS”) who had retired or otherwise left ABS prior to the closing of its Ashtabula Forge plant where they had been employed, appeal from the granting of summary judgment in favor of ABS in this action filed pursuant to § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185, and § 502 of the Employment Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1132.
