This case concerns the attempted termination of the employment contract of Judith Jaworski, an elementary school music teacher, by the Sylvania City Schools and arises from the following facts.

Appellee, Judith Jaworski, was employed by appellant, Sylvania City Schools (hereinafter “school district”), on a limited one-year contract for the 1985-1986 school year. In May 1986, appellant notified appellee of its intent not to renew her contract for the 1986-1987 school term.
