ERICKSTAD, Chief Justice.

Robert Wastvedt appeals from a judgment dismissing his complaint against the University of North Dakota, Williston Center [the University]. We affirm.

Wastvedt was employed as an assistant professor of chemistry and physics at the University from the fall of 1970 through the spring of 1980. During this time, he was granted a full-time tenured appointment with the University. He was employed full-time during the 1979-1980 academic term at a salary of $18,689.
