Maria Castillo appeals the trial court’s dismissal of her medical negligence claim. The sole issue is whether the trial court abused its discretion when it dismissed with prejudice her claims against Dr. August based on her failure to provide an adequate expert report as required by Sections 13.01 and 14.01 of the Medical Liability and Insurance Improvement Act (MLI-IA).
