Plaintiff Reginald Thompson filed suit in the circuit court of Will County against defendant Green Garden Insurance Company to recover damages for vandalism to a building owned by plaintiff and insured by defendant. The trial court granted defendant’s motion for summary judgment on the ground that plaintiffs building had been vacant for more than 30 days prior to the loss and was thus excluded from coverage by the terms of the insurance policy.
