1 Reported in 278 N.W. 351. Plaintiffs brought this suit to foreclose a mortgage upon certain premises in St. Paul. Being successful only in part, they have appealed from the resulting judgment.
Defendants Heinen and wife are, and during all the times hereinafter stated were, the registered owners of the involved premises. In 1926 they borrowed $2,500 from plaintiffs, in evidence whereof they executed and delivered a promissory note with interest coupons attached payable to the lenders as joint tenants; and as security for the indebtedness also executed and delivered the mortgage here…
