This appeal stems from the fifth of five lawsuits initiated by Plaintiff Jerry Alan Reese between 31 May 2007 and 10 October 2008 against Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (“County”) and various other entities regarding a plan to redevelop the City Center of Charlotte, North Carolina (“Plan”). Plaintiff appeals the trial court’s order denying his motion to strike, 1 granting the County’s motion for judgment on the pleadings, and granting Defendant Brooklyn Village, LLC’s (“Brooklyn Village”) motion to dismiss.
