Two actions were tried to the court from May 20, 2013 through June 4, 2013, the petition for exoneration filed by the petitioner Moran Towing Corporation (“Moran” or the “Petitioner”) and a Jones Act and general maritime law action for negligence filed by claimant Avril Young (“Avril Young” or the “Claimant”).
