Michael Mattox was convicted by a jury of one count of aiding and abetting unintentional second-degree murder and one count of aiding and abetting criminal discharge of a firearm. The Court of Appeals reversed in part, holding that Mattox’s statements made to three Topeka Police Department detectives and evidence obtained as a result of those statements should have been suppressed.
