On the 3d day of September, 1900, the parties to this suit entered into the following contract:
“A. contract made and entered into this 3d day of September, by and between the Nebraska Land & Feeding Company of Chadron, Nebraska, party of the first part, and I. G. Trauerman & Company of Sioux City, Iowa, party of the second part. The party of the first part hereby sells and agrees to deliver to the party of the second part one thousand steer calves, all born in the year 1900.
