BARROW, J.

This is a criminal appeal of convictions of first degree murder, robbery and two charges of the use of a firearm in connection with the murder and the robbery. The principal issue is whether the trial judge erred in failing to require the prosecution to produce a confederate’s confession that he, rather than the defendant, actually shot the victim. We hold that the trial court’s failure to require disclosure of the confession violated the defendant’s due process right to access to all exculpatory evidence in the Commonwealth’s possession.
