DECISION AND ORDER

LARIMER, District Judge.

INTRODUCTION

This is an action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) to review the final determination of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“the Commissioner”) that Douglas Gross (“plaintiff’) is not disabled, and, therefore, is not entitled to benefits under the Social Security Act (“the Act”). Plaintiff applied for disability insurance benefits on July 16, 2001, alleging a disability onset date of December 20, 1997.
