This case involves the issue of loss allocation between an airline and passenger arising out of the unauthorized alteration by an unknown third party of two airline tickets that were purchased by the defendant passenger. The first issue addressed here concerns the rights which an innocent purchaser possesses upon purchase of airline tickets that have been previously altered.
