The American Psychological Association (the APA) is a national nonprofit organization representing clinical, research, and academic psychologists. APA members must pay annual association fees billed by the organization on its yearly “Membership Dues Statement.” For certain members, the dues statement also includes a separate, “special assessment” fee.
