¶1 Robert Jacobsen (“Jacobsen’) filed a complaint against Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate’) alleging, inter alia, statutory and common law bad faith, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, and actual malice. Jacobsen prevailed in a jury trial on his bad faith claims, and was awarded both compensatory and punitive damages. Allstate now appeals from various rulings of the Eighth Judicial District Court, Cascade County.
