Arthur W. Venneman was instantly killed in an automobile accident as a result of a collision between a car driven by him and a car driven by one Helge Persson. Katheryn Yenneman, the widow of deceased, as administratrix instituted suit against Persson for the pecuniary loss which she suffered by reason of the death of her husband. Prior to the trial an offer of settlement was made. Thereafter a consent judgment in the sum of $4,000 was entered in the circuit court in favor of Mrs. Yenneman.
