Roughly one year after its 2007 leveraged buyout (“LBO”), Lyondell Chemical *639Company (“Lyondell”) filed a petition for chapter 11 relief. In this appeal from decisions of the bankruptcy court, Lyondell’s unsecured creditors, through their trustee Edward S. Weisfelner (the “Trustee”), ask for reinstatement of their claim that Lyon-dell engaged in an intentional fraudulent transfer in connection with the LBO. The claim, which is brought pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 548(a)(1)(A), seeks to claw back approximately $6.3 billion in distributions made to Lyondell…
