After the plaintiff had sold certain machinery to the Improved Propeller Corporation it evidenced the sales by executing three conditional bills of sale to the vendee, which instruments were not recorded within the prescribed statutory period of ten days after the execution thereof. (Conditional Bills of Sales act, Pamph. L. 1919, p. 461, § 5.)
