The complaint states in substance that Walter Cade and Lydia L. Cade, the appellant, were married on the 11th day of August, 1896; that in 1898, during said coverture, said Walter Cade became a member of what is known as “Home Camp,” which is a lodge or camp subordinate to the respondent association, and thereupon took out a benefit certificate, Ho. 52,597, in the said Head Camp, Pacific Jurisdiction, Woodmen of the World, in the sum of $2,000, payable to his wife; that the certificate was delivered by him to his wife and left in her…
