This suit was brought by respondent, plaintiff below, to recover from appellant, defendant, unpaid installments on two electric advertising display signs, and also to recover as liquidated damages sixty per cent of the sum of the installments which would have accrued under the terms of a written contract between the date of the alleged breach of said contract by defendant and the date of the expiration of the period of time covered therein.
