Defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction entered upon a verdict finding him guilty of kidnaping for the purpose of committing robbery (violation of Pen. Code, § 209), 1 assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer (violation of § 245, subd. (b), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (violation of § 12021), and two counts of robbery (violation of § 211).
