ADAMS, Circuit Judge.

In 1903 the Illinois Life Insurance Company, a corporation organized under the laws of that state, reinsured the policies of the Kansas Mutual Life Insurance Company, a corporation organized under the laws of Kansas, and became the purchaser at a judicial sale, made in a suit to wind up the .affairs of the latter company, of all its assets. By the decree confirming the sale the assets were required to be turned over and delivered to the purchasing com*357pany, which was authorized and empowered to institute further proceedings if necessary to secure possession of them.
