Kelvin Ford was convicted by a jury of two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed, 1 one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence, 2 three misdemeanor weapons offenses, 3 and one count of obstruction of justice. 4 On appeal, he presents several contentions, only two of which require plenary consideration.
